As an attorney at eLegacy Law, you must be able to lead and motivate team members, thrive in a busy, team-oriented environment, and communicate in a professional, client centered manner using video conferencing technology. Although we may not be in the same room, we connect personally and provide an exceptional client experience. Following our 5-Step process, you, and your team, consisting of a dedicated paralegal and client relations coordinator, will provide expert legal advice while creating comprehensive trust and will-based estate plans.
Job Duties:
- Drafting concise, professionally written legal documents and correspondence
- Preparing and reviewing estate planning documents using WealthDocx® software
- Meeting with clients, advisors, and other professionals to design, draft and implement estate plans and strategies virtually, on the phone, or in person.
- Supervising, reviewing and editing answer files, deeds, assignments and other documents prepared by paralegal
- Drafting and recording deeds
- Communicating with clients, financial advisors and other third parties to coordinate funding of trusts and making appropriate designations under retirement plans and insurance policies
- Other duties as assigned
Position Details:
- REMOTE & In-person opportunities available
- Salary $90,000-$140,000 DOE
Office Hours:
8am-5pm PST Monday through Friday (Office closed to clients on Fridays 12pm-5pm PST)
Requirements
Desirable Qualifications
- J.D. and licensing in relevant state
- Proficient in WealthDocx® drafting software (training is available)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Experience with estate planning
- Experience with trust administration and probate law a plus
- Extreme attention to detail
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Cool under pressure and always helpful with clients – clients come first
- Must be able to effectively multi-task, manage time-sensitive matters, and exhibit exceptional organizational skills in a fast-paced environment
