Associate Attorney/Bike Lawyer

Washington Bike Law is a Seattle-based firm representing injured bicyclists statewide and helping make our streets safer for everyone. We are looking to add an associate attorney with a skill-set and personality that complement our current team of four attorneys and five support staff.

Candidates must have the following:

•        WSBA membership;
•        1-5 years of experience in any litigation practice, civil or criminal, but ideally in personal injury litigation managing cases from intake through resolution;
•        high ethical standards, including a genuine commitment to serving clients and the community;
•        ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment;
•        strong writing skills, ideally including experience writing compelling demand letters;
•        a positive personality; and
•        a demonstrable commitment to Vision Zero, bicycling, and safe-streets or other social justice work motivating your interest in this position.

This salaried position also provides a percentage of fees earned, annual profit-sharing, paid holidays and scheduled time off, health insurance, and a generous retirement plan. 

We work both remotely and in-person. We work hard, but in a relaxed environment at our historic 1907 office building where well-mannered dogs are welcome. We encourage bike commuting. Our building has a bike room, gym, and showers.
