Expectations:
Take full lead of a pre-lit and litigation docket
Drive output of demands, case strategy, motions, depositions, mediation, and trials
Be the person we hand our most difficult, high-value, and high-risk cases to---and get results
Make clear, decisive calls on liability, value, and trial posture and stand behind them
Give clients direct, honest assessments about risk and value
Go-to legal mind for high-impact personal injury cases and be a trusted leader
Help us make key operational decisions for our Texas offices
What Success Looks Like:
Consistently move files forward – no dormant cases on your docket
Mentor attorneys and staff instead of creating chaos for them
Prepare every case like it’s going to a jury
Judges respect you, defense counsel takes you seriously, and clients trust you
When something goes sideways, your first instinct is “What can I fix”?
Raise the bar for the entire team, not just for yourself
Qualifications – What You Must Bring to the Table:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Licensed attorney in good standing with the State Bar of Texas
5+ years of litigation experience, with a strong focus on personal injury work
Prior role as a Supervising or Managing attorney
Demonstrated track record of strong results in high-exposure cases (settlements, verdicts, or both)
Comfortable managing a heavy docket independently
Exceptional writing and interpersonal skills
Proven leadership skills in a high volume fast-paced environment - juggling multiple cases, priorities, and people
Uncompromising commitment to ethics, professionalism, and ongoing learning
Comfortable with case management software, digital files, and modern law practice technology
Office - on site role
