Description
Principal Responsibilities
Coordinate the daily processing of payroll tax payment remittance, filings, and account maintenance for the U.S. and Canada.
Coordinate distribution of internal and external CRM tickets.
Assist in driving client satisfaction by proactively assisting in managing client tax accounts.
Identify issues and risks to EMS and recommend mitigation and alternative tactics to ensure all processing tasks are delivered within clients’ contract and SLA objectives.
Maintain all required regulatory documents (e.g., powers of attorney) and account access to execute tax duties with filing vendors.
Develop and maintain relationships with internal partners and external vendors to support the offering.
Coach team members on high-quality communication with clients, colleagues, vendors, and tax agencies.
Run and reconcile client-specific and internal reports as required.
Conduct training sessions for team members.
Partner on internal EMS projects, initiatives, service offerings, proposals, and other activities as directed by EMS and EPI-USE leadership.
Serve as backup to the Tax Manager.
Requirements
Four-year degree or minimum seven (7) years equivalent business experience.
FPC or CPP certification a plus.
Minimum of 5 years multi-state payroll tax experience.
Assertive self-starter with strong motivational skills.
Strong organizational skills, analytical ability, and attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong CX methodology.
Ability to maintain cooperative working relationships with all levels of management, clients, and colleagues.
Ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
MasterTax and SAP knowledge a plus.
