Location: Downtown Dallas - Onsite (Hybrid option available)
Compensation: $130,000 + annually (commensurate with experience)
Position Overview
Our well established law firm is hiring an associate attorney to work on transportation and other civil litigation in state and federal courts in Texas and beyond. If you have been actively practicing civil litigation for three years or more, want to step into an established law practice with courtroom, deposition, and ownership opportunities in the near future, at a competitive salary with opportunity for hybrid work/office environment, this is an excellent opportunity.

Firm Expertise
Our firm has a nation-wide practice in transportation litigation.
Key Responsibilities
Handle civil cases from initial case assessment through resolution including pleadings, motions, discovery, depositions, and trials
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court
Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to develop case strategy
Ability to research law in relevant jurisdictions and draft motions and responses
Required Qualifications
2-4 years of experience in civil litigation
Law degree from accredited law school and active license to practice law in the State of Texas
Knowledge of Texas and Federal pleading, discovery, motion, and trial practice
Strong written and verbal communication skills; professional client communication
Proven ability to manage cases independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with legal case management systems
Familiarity with Smokeball case management software is a plus (not required)
