Associate Attorney – Probate, Trust & Estate Law Firm
Our boutique law firm based in Dallas, Texas, is currently seeking a passionate, driven probate and trust litigation associate attorney to join our team.

Position Overview:
As an associate attorney, you will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced attorneys on a variety of probate and trust litigation matters. You will be responsible for conducting legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, attending court hearings, and representing clients in negotiations and mediation. This role offers substantial hands-on experience and the chance to develop valuable skills in a specialized area of law.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct legal research and analysis on probate and trust matters
Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
Draft and respond to written discovery
Manage discovery processes, including document collection, review, and production
Assist with and draft motions to compel, motions for protection, and other discovery-related filings
Assist in the preparation of cases for trial and appellate proceedings
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the courts
Attend court hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings
Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and achieve favorable outcomes for clients
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Admission to the Texas State Bar in good standing
5-8 years of experience in civil litigation, with probate, estate, and trust and/or family law litigation preferred
Strong legal research and writing skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Requirements
