Description
The Law Firm of Aaron A. Herbert, P.C. is a Dallas–Fort Worth personal injury law firm focused on representing injured clients in car wreck, truck wreck, motorcycle accident, premises liability, and other injury claims. We are currently seeking an Associate Attorney to join our personal injury practice. Our firm is looking for a motivated attorney who is committed to advocating for injured clients, moving cases forward, and helping maximize case value through strong communication, preparation, and attention to detail.
The ideal candidate is someone who is organized, dependable, and willing to work hard in a fast-paced personal injury environment. This position requires an attorney who can handle the daily demands of a pre-litigation and litigation personal injury caseload, communicate effectively with clients, insurance adjusters, medical providers, and opposing counsel, and assist in evaluating liability, damages, medical treatment, and settlement strategy.
We are open to attorneys with varying levels of experience, including newly licensed attorneys, junior associates, and attorneys with prior personal injury experience. Prior experience handling personal injury claims, demand preparation, negotiations, litigation, depositions, mediations, or trial work is a plus, but not required for the right candidate.
Responsibilities may include:
Reviewing and evaluating personal injury claims
Communicating with clients regarding case status, treatment, and claim strategy
Reviewing medical records, billing, liability facts, and insurance coverage
Preparing and reviewing demand packages
Negotiating with insurance adjusters
Drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and correspondence when needed
Assisting with litigation strategy, depositions, mediations, and trial preparation
Working closely with staff to ensure cases ae moving efficiently toward resolution

Requirements
Licensed to practice law in Texas
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage deadlines and a caseload
Professional, client-focused attitude
Willingness to learn and grow in the personal injury field
Prior personal injury experience preferred, but not required
