Description

Hernandez Law Group, P.C. is seeking an Associate Litigation Attorney to handle personal injury cases from the filing of suit through resolution, including trial when necessary.

The ideal candidate is an aggressive, organized, and results-oriented attorney who is comfortable taking responsibility for a litigation docket and moving cases forward. This is not a position for an attorney who simply monitors files or waits for opposing counsel to act. We expect our attorneys to actively develop their cases, identify what is needed to maximize value, meet deadlines, communicate with clients, and push cases toward settlement or trial.

The Associate Attorney will work with the firm's attorneys, paralegals, legal assistants, investigators, experts, and other staff to obtain the best possible results for our clients.

Requirements

Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
Active license to practice law in Texas and good standing with the State Bar of Texas.
Strong written and oral advocacy skills.
Ability to independently manage deadlines and a litigation docket.
Strong organizational and case-management skills.
Professional judgment and ability to communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, courts, witnesses, and staff.
Willingness to take depositions, attend hearings and mediations, and try cases.
