- Kentucky Foreclosure Attorney - Remote
Description
Lender Legal PLLC, a creditor’s rights firm with a primary practice area of residential mortgage foreclosure, is currently seeking an experienced Kentucky Foreclosure Attorney to join our team.
Attorneys in this position will have a minimum of 5 years of experience handling all aspects of mortgage foreclosure litigation in Kentucky, including initial title review, complaint drafting, motion practice, discovery, mediations, trials, and execution on judgments. They will first-chair contested nonjury trials, take and defend depositions, and assist with legal research and writing on appellate matters as needed. They will work with both large and small financial institutions and investors.
Compensation commensurate with experience. The firm pays for 50% of healthcare benefits for employees and their families. The firm also provides paid vacation and 401k matching. This is a fully remote position.
Requirements
- Law degree from ABA accredited law school.
- License to practice law in the state of Kentucky and in good standing.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Kentucky mortgage foreclosure is required; real estate and/or title law experience is a plus.
- Have a good working knowledge of litigation and motion practice, generally.
- Willingness to travel as needed across the state of Kentucky (10%).
- In addition to KY, foreclosure experience in one of our other states is a plus (OH, IN, FL, IL).
