Position Overview
The Legal Assistant provides essential administrative and legal support to the firm’s Senior Paralegal, helping ensure the smooth operation of the firm's daily activities. This role is ideal for a highly organized and detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment and is committed to supporting clients with compassion and professionalism.
Requirements
Manage calendars, schedule meetings and coordinate court appearances.
File legal documents with courts and administrative agencies (electronic and physical).
Maintain and organize client files, case records and legal databases.
Assist with intake and onboarding of new clients, including gathering file documentation.
Communicate with clients, courts and other stakeholders.
Conduct basic legal research and compile information for attorney review.
Support billing and timekeeping processes.
Collaborate with attorneys and staff to support client-centered legal services.
