Overview
Josiah Knapp Law, PC is a growing, multi-state law firm with offices in Philadelphia and New York and expansion underway into Florida. We represent businesses nationwide, with a strong focus on commercial litigation and collections across New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.
We are seeking a Litigation Attorney with 5+ years of experience, licensed in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, to join our downtown Philadelphia (Center City) office. This is a high-impact role offering immediate responsibility, meaningful courtroom exposure, and the opportunity to manage a substantial caseload in a performance-driven environment.
Our team is highly collaborative and operates best with attorneys working together in-office five days per week, while maintaining flexibility for personal needs and life demands.

What You’ll Do
- Manage litigation matters from intake through resolution
- Handle collections and commercial litigation cases, including casino-related matters
- Draft, file, and argue motions in state courts
- Appear in court for hearings, conferences, and proceedings
- Lead all phases of discovery, including depositions
- Conduct legal research and draft briefs and memoranda
- Negotiate settlements and drive efficient case resolution
- Manage a high-volume caseload with autonomy and accountability
- Partner with attorneys and staff to deliver strong client outcomes
What You Bring
- JD from an accredited law school
- Active bar admission in NJ and PA (required)
- 5+ years of litigation experience (required)
- Experience in collections, creditor rights, or commercial litigation preferred
- Strong courtroom presence and motion practice experience
- Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage a fast-paced, high-volume workload
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Professional, confident, and client-facing demeanor
- Interest in expanding into additional practice areas
- Authorized to work in the US

Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $110,000 – $140,000 (commensurate with experience)
- Annual profit-sharing bonus tied to firm performance
- Health insurance (firm covers 50% of individual premium)
