Manager of Marketing & Communications
(This full-time remote position is open to candidates residing in Tampa, Atlanta, or Charlotte.)
Position Overview
The Manager of Marketing & Communications will play a key role in executing Fisher Phillips' marketing strategies, with a focus on brand deployment, digital marketing initiatives, social media management, and engagement campaigns. This hands-on role is responsible for implementing marketing programs, creating compelling content, managing digital channels, and supporting business development efforts across the firm. This position reports to the Director of Marketing & Communications.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Deployment & Management
- Execute brand standards across all marketing materials and digital platforms.
- Ensure brand consistency in all communications, collateral, and marketing assets.
- Develop marketing materials including presentations, one-pagers, brochures, and digital content.
- Coordinate with design resources and vendors to produce high-quality branded materials.
- Manage and create content for firm rankings and directory submissions. (ie. Chambers, Legal 500, etc.)
Digital Marketing Execution
- Implement and manage digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
- Support paid digital advertising initiatives including social media ads and search campaigns.
- Monitor website analytics and provide insights on user behavior and content performance.
- Execute marketing automation workflows to nurture leads and engage audiences.
Social Media Management
- Manage day-to-day social media presence across LinkedIn, Twitter, and other platforms.
- Create & facilitate engaging social media content including posts, graphics, and short-form videos.
- Schedule and publish content according to social media calendar.
- Monitor social media channels, respond to comments, and engage with followers.
- Track social media metrics and provide regular performance reports.
- Identify trending topics and opportunities for firm participation.
Campaign & Event Support
- Execute integrated marketing campaigns from concept through completion.
- Support in-person event marketing for conferences, seminars, and client events.
- Create campaign assets including landing pages, email sequences, and promotional materials.
- Track campaign performance and compile post-campaign analysis reports.
- Manage project timelines and coordinate with internal stakeholders.
Content Creation & Communication
- Write and edit marketing copy for various channels and audiences.
- Develop client-facing communications and engagement materials.
- Coordinate content approval processes with attorneys and leadership.
- Maintain content calendars and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Proofread and quality-check all marketing communications.
Collaboration & Support
- Partner with business development team to support attorney marketing initiatives.
- Coordinate with practice groups to understand their marketing needs and priorities.
- Provide marketing support and guidance to attorneys and staff.
- Assist with marketing budget tracking and vendor management.
- Contribute ideas for continuous improvement of marketing programs.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
- 5-7 years of marketing experience, with strong emphasis on digital marketing and social media.
- Proven experience executing multi-channel marketing campaigns.
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Strong project management abilities with attention to detail.
- Proficiency with digital marketing tools. (CMS, email platforms, social media management tools, analytics)
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite or Canva for basic design work.
- Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Travel of up to 10% for team meetings, events, and professional development.
Preferred
- Experience in professional services, legal industry, or B2B marketing.
- Knowledge of marketing automation platforms. (HubSpot, Marketo, etc.)
- Understanding of SEO/SEM principles and best practices.
- Experience with video content creation and editing.
- Familiarity with CRM systems.
- Google Analytics certification or similar credentials.
